My grandfather purchased a wedding gift for us from this store... a unique painting that I had fallen in love with. It was a large painting and he didn't have a way to bring it home at the time. He paid the full amount and was told that he could pick it up later. He left his phone number and called to check on it periodically, always getting reassurance that if there was ever an issue the store would call him. My grandfather borrowed a van and drove several hours out of his way to pick up the painting to bring it to our new house on moving day. When he arrived at the store, the painting was gone. They had resold it, even though a SOLD sign was on the painting with his name and contact information. The store never called my grandfather. They did not apologize either... just wrote him a check. Extremely poor business ethics.
