wow....we tried it and loved it. We were looking for a family place and the lady at the book store told us to go up and see her friend, Kim. We took her suggestion and had the shrimp salad, the 1/2 rack if ribs and this cheesesteak they make with steamed shrimp. We will go back when we go to the bookstore from now on. We appreiciate the friendly atmosphere, the cleanliness, and the well prepared food. Three things most folks can't get right these days.

We tried it for Breakfast on a Saturday thinking we'd wait forever but it was peaceful and the people working are lovely. The food was outstanding and felt like you were eating at "moms" house. Hot food and fresh. They do things the right way and the atmosphere is really nice. We will go back there again. I want to try the ribs and beef.

I work at MPT and my co workers have been telling me to try it because I do love food and love to cook at home. I always complain about restaurants and have settled for the lean cuisine at my desk for years because I get frustrated and most places aren't clean enough for me. I went hesitantly but this wasn't what I expected. It's hidden from the masses and specializes in just being them. It's a small staff of very customer driven people that can cook and the customers all seem to know them. That's wow factor for me they aren't afraid to be in the public eye. I asked the counter girl if the kitchen was ever in the back she said "if it was we'd never get to talk to everyone and it's more fun this way." The food was hot and very good. I had the crab cake special they informed me they got their crab meat from the local guy, and they get it fresh and from scratch. It was really good and tasted very fresh and it was a treat for $8.95. I was given a coupon to return, her business card, and was given instructions to call ahead for pick up. She said they deliver and it would be no problem to bring it to the station anytime we wanted to get an order together. I would rather come to lunch there but all those tips were helpful and appreciated. I even used the restroom and it was spotless. I am going out more for lunch to see my new friends. Not one I met was Virgil though ????
