I can't tell you about the Foster section of Camelot Care Centers, Inc. but I attended Camelot Behavioral Facility for children in east TN when I was young and it was awful. They abused the children there, forcing those with horrid OCD problems to do the grossest chores and take their showers last, even though no one cared if they went first; these kids would be sobbing hysterically from the thought of it. Also, a lot of broom sticks and being hit by them. Emotional abuse was rampant, a lot of getting in your face and getting you against a wall and screaming at you, inadequate food allocation and some questionable people working there... what's questionable is their motivation for working with children. This is all I know

Man you are out of your mind. I was in Camelot back in the mid 90s, the food was fine, they had plenty of stuff to do there too. Swimming, fishing, basketball, etc. The staff there was just like decent parents. If you act out, they get on you. The living facilities were fine, and they actually fed us too much. Three meals a day and a snack between each meal. The school is located between Oak Ridge and Kingston out in the middle of no where behind a cow field.
