    This week since we are learning about ourselves, we passed a mirror around at circle time and looked at ourselves. Then we got to tell our friends what color our eyes are!

  • To try and figure out how tall we are, we used blocks from our classroom to stack up from our toes to our head and count how many it takes. Then we made a chart to compare and see who was the shortest and who was the tallest!

    To work on learning about size and shape, we each took a piece of paper and stamped our handprint on it. Then we cut it out and compared it to our friends and teachers to see who had the biggest!

    To learn about the size of our bodies, today we got to lay on a big piece of butcher paper and our teachers drew our outline. Then we got to cut it out to take home with us!

    To work on knowing where our body parts are, we played the classic game of "Simon Says", and when our teachers said to point to a body part, we had to point to the right one!
