Oh yeah... Democrats have really been doing a great job! Check out our National Debt, then think up something intelligent to say. If you can think at all.
Actually, the Dems are cleaning up the mess from 8 years of Bush's mess. Yeah, lets vote for another republican like him, that takes 60% of his time in office on vacation.

The national debt was created by the republicans with the war, find something more intelligent yourself.

Stand up to unions? Maybe if the unions were able to keep the jobs here in the United States instead of letting Republicans allowing jobs to put factories overseas like China and Mexico, America would have more jobs. Idiot.

I do find intelligent things to say, your obviously so filled with hate, that you just blindly follow party lines and believe your own B.S. Bush was in office for 8 years, yet most of the problems we had with the economy stemed from housing market because of Democrats. Any time Republicans tried raining in the problems that were out there, Democrats had to bitch and moan and claim it was business targeting the poor. Tell you what, get your news from someplace else other then NBC or CNN and you will see that it wasn't only Bush to blame, but most politicians and from both sides of the political spectrum. If your unwilling to open your eyes and look at the truth, then you are basically a slave to others beliefs and the last thing we need is lemmings strolling to the polls.

You truly are a political lemming. Unions are a special interest just like anything else. I believe unions can be a good thing, but what happens every time a small number of people are put in power and have money; they more than likely will become corrupt, just as most (not all) unions have. Look at the UAW (United Auto Workers) union. If they were truly for the workers, they wouldn't have basically run the car companies into the ground. Why do you think foreign car companies can sell cars that are just as good as American cars, for less? Thatís right, because most foreign car company employees are non-union. They make almost $45 dollars an hour in wages and benefits as compared to American union workers who make $78 dollars an hour. That means that the price of American cars on average are $1,500 more per car compared to the same car made by a foreign car company. Unions and high corporate taxes will continue to run companies overseas unless there is some sort of reform. The US has the highest corporate taxes in the world. Why do you think most companies run overseas, because it's cheaper because politicians keep running up the costs. So instead of calling me an idiot do some research to prove a point instead just spewing your verbal diarrhea. Itís clear who the idiot is when someone can logically prove a point with facts instead of just bitching due to political ideology.

Emmer is a fanatic and is of the same idiotic viewpoint from which Michelle Bachman comes. They have no feeling for average and poor Americans. Absolutely no business sense. Dayton at least is empathetic and understands that you can only cut back government so far before all the services on which we so depend will be history. Not everyone can fend for themselves. I am not one of them. I can easily support myself in retirement for the next 60 years, but I have many friends who cannot.
Most of us understand there are people out there who cannot help themselves, but government should not be intentionally hurting those who are successful. Many of them have busted their asses to get where they are in life. Our country gives everyone the opportunity to be successful, but it doesnít guarantee it. If people are hurting, then those around them should be willing to stand up and help them without the government to force it. Thatís why America is one of the most generous nations on earth. Once you begin giving people things, then whatís to stop others from trying so hard when they know if they donít it will just simply be handed to them.

Althought, the one thing I do really dislike I have against Tom Emmer is his stance on gay marriage. If two people of the same sex want to get married, I personally don;t see why thats such a big issue. Now that I have gotten to think about it, I may actually be going independent on this one, I've kinda had a toss up between Emmer and Horner. I guess these next couple of weeks will be kind of a toss up for me.

It's not the governor duffus-- the legislature is beholden to MASSIVE influence of the teachers union. Any rational intelligent person knows that.

It's time to bust the unions and elect school board members who have balls.

Increasing funding of a failing school system is not going to improve it. We need to replace the failing system with one that works. We should not only respect and reward good teachers, but accept only the best for teaching positions and expect the best performance. We need a candidate who sees this and won't lazily toss money at the current system.

Also, if businesses leave because taxes are unreasonable, they will take their jobs with them.

We can't afford either the Dayton or Horner tax increases. The high taxes in Minnesota are driving businesses out and keeping new ones from being created here. Look it up!

Also Mark Dayton has been in politics since the early 80s. Time to do something else with your families money Mark. You could do some great things for communities and charities if you didn't crave political attention. Put the needs of the people first not your own.

Dayton says we need to raise taxes because good schools bring businesses. Hey Mark... we have great schools already. Most education failures stem from the home not the school. Look this up too! And if you think we don't have great schools, then you don't get out much. Check out a few schools in the southern U.S. then tell me we have average schools.

Please go check out the facts for yourself.

Gay marriage should be separate from state issues.
Convince the masses and then the state will follow. Don't try to bypass procedures as they are there to protect us all.

Please explain how deciding to not run for re-election is quitting? You do know that he finished all six years of his Senate term, right?

TEACHERS UNIONS COULD CARE LESS ABOUT CHILDREN OR EDUCATION.

All thet care. EVER, about is WAGES and PENSIONS nothing else.

The sooner the people of this state and country concedes to that FACT, the sooner children will be able to get the best teachers and the biggest bang for their hard earned TAX DOLLAR.

Anyone want to debate that we me.

I was a UNION ORGANIZER for 20 years.

They I was ridden with guilt and quit.
