AAA- A Brooklyn Movers -Remarkable Movers

These guys were the best possible company I could have chosen to move my family and I from New York City. We interviewed several companies in our residence and several others over the phone and via email. 3 van lines came out to our home to give us those estimates and their estimates were all over the map in regards of volume and pricing from 11,000 pounds all the way up to 19,000 pounds and these are the national chains including North American Van Lines and Paul Arpin being the highest in terms of weight. I emailed over their estimates to my moving coordinator at New York Best Movers Mike Lenny and he went over the paperwork and entered their inventory list into his database and came up with a weight estimate of 14,600 pounds and with the packing added the total price came to $9,000.00 when the others were all over $12,000!! I chose New York Best Movers for several reasons, their better business rating is an A, their reviews are stellar and I can see why and last of all but not most importantly their price was $3,000 less for the same exact service. Now, unlike many people, cost was not the deciding factor in choosing a company because my company was picking up the tab for all moving expenses but I wanted a reputable company that I could entrust all of my family’s belongings to and be at ease during the course of the move. At 10 am Monday morning the 16th of November the 4 man crews showed up at my home to prep, fill out paperwork, and load our belongings. The movers that showed up was the agent for my move and all I can say is that Mike and his brother were the most professional and totally down to earth movers I have ever met. They were cordial, funny and worked their butts off the whole time while the hired movers packed everything and Mike brother inventoried all of our items. Well, after the loading they went to the weigh station to weigh our shipment and the next morning we received a call from Lenny at New York Best Movers to give us our weights and the total cost of our move because we were aware that it could swing either way and be over the estimate or under the estimate. Lenny told us that the weight was less then the estimate by 900 pounds which deducted $180.00 but my packing was over by $295.00 so my actual price was only over by $115.00. In all, this was the best move and moving company experience we have had yet and we have moved a total of 4 times since we have been married and several others before we met and collectively we could not have hoped for a better move. My reason for posting this reference is to let other people that may be searching for moving companies and quotes that New York Best Movers is an honest company that provided us and obviously judging from their reviews and ratings many others with exceptional service ad I promised Mike that once our move was completed that I would post a review be it negative or positive and we are happy for obvious reasons that it is as positive a review as we could post .

I am no stranger to moving around so I have seen the best and the worst movers and packers so when I called New York Best Movers - I did not exactly have very high expectations. Let’s just put it this way after all the problems that I have had with some of the companies I see movers and packers as a necessary evil. I do my own packaging because that way at least I can be sure that I have done my best to protect my things. I was expecting some damage when my things were delivered to New Jersey from NYC but to my utter surprise nothing was broken and this is the first time that my stuff was actually delivered on time. So I am certainly very impressed with this company. If you want your things to get to your destination in time and safe you should definitely consider them.

New York Best Movers were great with getting my things packed and moved. When I called the office they were more than helpful in making sure I got the information I needed or asked for. Their pricing was great with the gas prices being what they are and compared to other quotes.
When they showed up (on time) they started right in and humped the things that needed to be packed quick and efficiently. They did not drag their feet to prolong the process. In fact we finished well ahead of my expectations by hours. There was no breakage of my belongings either. They wrapped and packed things very well. I had over 15 large pieces of glass from table tops and mirrors that they loaded, moved and unloaded without any problems. They were upbeat and happy to be working.
We had a 100 mile drive to the new location with a stop at a storage unit. This was no problem and they packed the truck with the stop planned to make unloading quicker.
