Dr. James L. Bouchard founded Allied Ankle & Foot Care Centers, PC in 1977. He started with 3 offices in Decatur, Athens, and Roswell. Since that time, the practice has grown to 6 offices to provide that same quality care to more people in Atlanta and surrounding areas. There are 4 doctors in the practice, who are very devoted to the patients and their families.

As Podiatrists in the state of Georgia we treat treat all problems affecting the lower legs, ankles, and feet, from common skin and nail problems to advanced bone deformities, which are either inherited, caused by trauma, or secondary to underlying illnesses such as diabetes.

Many problems are treated in the office and do not require surgery. However, all of our physicians are surgically trained and are on staff at multiple hospitals and surgery centers in the Atlanta area.

We take most insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid.

We are the combined practices of Action Podiatry, Buckhead Foot & Ankle Specialists, and The Foot Doctor. We merged into one entity in 2004 to provide you the best foot care, staff and facilities in the Atlanta area. We are located in the Northside medical center area and near the Mall of Georgia.

Action Podiatry was established in 1985 by Dr Irving Miller with an emphasis on sports medicine, and became Northside Podiatry in 2002, with comprehensive, caring and complete Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Dr Miller retired from practice May, 2006 and is pleased that his practice continues with excellent quality care by experienced podiatrists.

Buckhead Foot & Ankle Specialists evolved from the Noonan Podiatry Group, which was originally established in 1954. The Foot Doctor was established in 1994 in Buford and Chatsworth.

We have four practicing podiatrists who each have between 12 and 26 years of experience. We are on the Northside Hospital medical staff. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care, and to fully informing and educating you concerning your diagnosis and treatment options. We offer you complete foot care, from nail care and Diabetic shoes, to sports injuries, to surgical treatment.
