ADEN: Yemeni special forces retook an army base and freed several hostages hours after Al Qaeda militants disguised as security personnel seized the site in southeast Yemen, killing at least four soldiers, a military official said yesterday.

Muscat: Nine Indian sailors who were on board the ill-fated Tajudin Baba, a dhow which sank nearly 90 nautical miles southeast off Al Mukalla coast in Yemen and was later rescued by another dhow Al Sulthana Madina, reached the Salalah Port safe and sound on Friday.
