Remember that I'm in the West, in other words, the West is the number one business friend of China, and Made in China things are every where here, China-made shops outnumber that of the West, and who're those buying it, the Westerners like you . But for being the number one enemies of Africa, you wouldn't like to see Africans buy afordable Chinese-made things, you're afraid China could take your place in Africa and or China could become economic and political superpower and probe you of your corporate and military atrocities . There will be no escape route for the West, you must pay for your crimes, even if it takes hundreds of years .

Orieduka, I may have agreed with about African-Chinese co-oporation, until I came across this Chinese website [below]. Apparently, Chinese people actually hate Africans. The African insults and hatred coming from the Chinese was absolutely shocking, especially when the issue in question had nothing to do with Africa. Also in this website [www.chinasmack.com]and other Chinese websites you will find other topics dedicated to Chinese hatred of Africans. Warning: the language may be too shocking for some.

Who cares?. No insult by the Chinese people can supercede the ones we get from you guys fron time indefinite . I won't waste my time going through your links because it cannot change any thing in me . The Black Africans like myself who saw that website were so shocked and dissappointed and the exchanges between Africans and Chinese on that site were shockimg. I don't really care what your opinion of Westerners are but surely as a proud African like myself, you are not trying to tell me you support the Chinese who actually hates us.

firstly Orieduka is not a proud african lets get this straight secondly he is a appologist for mugabe and anything anti mugabe is a target . he has only been to africa on his computer this is why his mind is closed, a lot like a holocaust denyer [ i dont see it therefore it is not ]

You may be right when you said the Chinese people hate us, and remember that I did not argue that . What I was trying to put forward is that the West hate us a million times more than the Chinese do . The black person has been at the recieving end from time out of history, but seldom have we suffered so much cruelty in the hands of any race . What the jews did to the post war Germans is what the black race should strive to do to the Westerners, force them to pay for all the atrocities they committed, and I know we can do that, no matter how long it would take us, we're not in a haste but justice must be done . It's only a fool who does not know that China is coming to us because they want to use our mineral resources to build their soon coming superpower empire, but the questions are, are they killing any African on their way to achieve that as did the West?, are they funding tribal wars in Africa?, have they taken anyone to slavery?, have they ever massacred any village in Africa?, Have they terrorists like Simon Mann, Mark Thatcher, etc?. The atrocities committed by the West in Africa is unprecedented since the emergence of humankind . It's totally unacceptable .

Believe me I can understand your anger towards the West as a fellow African. As a Senegambian [which means the countries Senegal and The Gambia, because we share the same language, culture and ancient history long before the French and British came in and divided the countries among themselves respectively], I can understand your anger. Perhaps the atrocities in South Africa and Zimbabwe are more recent that’s why I can appreciate how fresh it is in your memory and your justified anger. However, you raised very interesting points that I would like to address if you don’t mind. I am among those Africans who are not in favour of selling our continent to China. China’s economic hold on the African continent is dangerously frightening and this is no exaggeration. As you rightly implied, the Chinese are there for their sole benefit and not for mutual partnership. Virtually in all the African countries they occupy, not only do they send in their own people for skilled work, but large numbers for unskilled labour as well. I can perhaps understand sending in skilled Chinese engineers etc, but certainly not for unskilled work when the host country have people willing and able to do the unskilled work, whose families are dying because of lack of jobs and income. Even the native entrepreneurs are being priced out within their own country [sources: USA Today and entrepreneur friends of mine in Africa]. As any economist know, small and medium sized businesses are crucial in a country’s economic development. In the Congo basin [the second largest tropical forest in the world], six out of ten trees cut down belong to China and it is estimated that within 50 years, 2/3 of the forest will disappear if the Chinese keeps exploiting it at this rate [source: World Wildlife Fund]. Where these Chinese employ the natives, they are poorly paid [less than the other unskilled Chinese doing the same work] and the working conditions are terrible without any safety plans in place [even the other unskilled Chinese don’t do these jobs]. As we all have witnessed recently in Zambia, some native workers in a Chinese owned mine were seriously wounded by the stupid police whose crime was only complaining and demonstrating about working conditions.

Believe me when I say the Chinese do not give a toss about the Africans [their host or so called partner]. Why should they when many of our leaders do not give a toss about their own people? In fact, they hate us and are only in Africa to improve the lives of their own people and if Africans die in the process, big deal. As most of us have seen on the news recently, tons of radioactive components were dumped in the Congo river by Chinese acquired mines in the country – poisoning the water supply of local villagers. Lest not forget the Chinese have poisoned their own coastal territories before and it would be foolish of Africans to think that they won’t do it to us. This so called Chinese-African partnership is a one sided partnership. The only benefactor is China and Africa will pay for the consequences in years to come. If we think we had had it worst from the Europeans during the colonial periods, we haven’t seen anything yet. This is in no way trying to trivialise the devastating effects of colonialism, but at least in the latter stages of colonialism nuclear wastes etc, was in its infancy, but most importantly, we survived colonialism and the fact that we are here still today proves that we are a resilient race. The bigger threat from China is yet to come. As powerful nations struggle for world scarce resources, China who have virtually economically conquered every corner of the African continent, would have no hesitation in bleeding dry the continent’s resources even if it means destroying the African race. If it can do it to its own people albeit to a lesser extent, how can we be so naïve to even think that they have respect for Africans and wouldn’t do it to us with all its economic and nuclear power, especially when you consider the fact that, these people have no respect for the African race. The Europeans have come and gone, yet the Africans have not learned anything in spite of centuries of colonisation. I cannot emphasise that old maxim enough:‘Africa needs to solve its own problems rather than waiting for others to guide it’. Yes! we can engage in economic partnership with China but it should be a mutual partnership were everyone benefits and not just one sided. The building of certain infrastructure with Chinese money in itself is not enough to prove that Africa is developing. The lives of the indigenous population must improve dramatically in terms of jobs; better working condition; high standard of living; health; education etc and these are not forthcoming. This is where many Africans go wrong. They see new roads or new building and they jump with joy and say Chinese-African partnership is working, when in fact their own children do not have jobs and the jobs are given to the Chinese [brought from China]. This is made worst when you learn that, our leaders are giving exclusive rights to China at the expense of other nations. As any starting entrepreneur will tell you, you should never give exclusivity to one client. If you do, it means you have given them so much power and thereby giving them the ammunition to squeeze you out. As their businesses prosper with low costing and high profitability, you on the other hand suffer and is unable to meet you daily needs. Africa is a rich continent in terms of natural resources and our people should not be dying out of poverty. We should not be relying on handouts or expect another nation to come and bail us out. We should do it ourselves. Any other country who wishes to join us in partnership must do so fairly and for the benefit of all concerned.

Well, as I said some time in the past, everyone needs everyone in this world, but when a race is so blood thirsty, do without them because you won't need them at all . In other words, I don't care who Africans decide to do business with, what I won't accept in any form is Africans doing business with their number one enemy, the West . If we have to do business with many countries then that's where the Russians come in, we still have the Indians, the Japanese and the Arabs to choose from, but I reject in totality Africa doing any thing with the West, they're blood thirsty race . If there're black Africans living in this planet who will forgive and or forget the atrocities of the West against Africans, I am not among them and I will never ever be among them . The Chinese people, at least, are not troublesome, and I won't forget their role in the United Nations concerning the dismantling of the evil apartheid, they and the Russians were the only ones who rejected apartheid regime from the beginning . The USSR gave scholarship to many Africans, but the West who was looting the continent refused Africans visas including Africans from the so-called Commonwealth countries, thereby violating the commonwealth treaty itself, just because they'er Africans . Darling, stop making excuses for your own failure. Africa is what it is because of Africans. Nothing more, nothing less. You people have spent the last few hundred years killing each other because you don't like the color of the feathers your neighbor is wearing. Your continent is what it is because your people have not been able to come together and create a decent government that cares about its own people more than they care about their own pockets.
