If Ukraine wants to start printing money, at some point it will be worth less then a peso, and Mexico City has sufferred from smog so bad, due to the Mountains blocking any wind movement, that people live there and live there better then they do in Czernobyl, but its not that nice there! That's not the way get an economy back up and going! I suggest you find someone like Greenspan, and get some of the people in that ministry of health doing their job again, instead of loafing! Who is the brains behind printing money! Bad idea! You won't attract Tourism that way, especially with a swine flu outbreak!

There are four very important things for Ukraine to do at this time, maybe five! First don't be a hoar like Moldavia and White Russia, thank God for the president you have had! Second, solve that Swine Flu problem becuase the numbers are staggerring, and not good! Third, cut inflation so that pensions and social Security do not be come worth less. Fourth, make the nation's access to energy resources much more inexpensive, by diverting to other sources! On that note, don't keep all your pysanky in one basket as they say, go see what other energy markets have to offer that is cheaper, especially in winter! 6th improve your export to import ratio, so that you exporting more than you are importing, and that things exported bring in more worth than the things being imported. Finally seventh get the Sky scrappers built in Kiev where people have been waiting to move into a property for over a year, which is ridiculous, and even more finally then that if many are sick now, expect that as things get colder people will get sicker, and finally, learn about what supply and demand means for how to make Ukraine's exports really count! If that was too difficult for anyone, I'm sure you can google it and find out what it means to draw investment and encourage Free Capitalist markets! Adios and God bless you all! It looks like winter is not going to be too much fun! God bless, and keep your hopes up!

Finally, beefing up the military of Ukraine by 10,000 is a very good idea, maybe 15,000-25,000 is even better, becuase that changes the employment situation on a bare minimum, and if that number learn a labor trade, or job skills things are much better off!

The flu issue in Ukraine is definitely being played up as political "hot potato". The truth is there are only 2 confirmed death related to N1H1 in Ukraine, others are likely just regular flu.

And it's likely being played up by... aissuR Where news propaganda is showing "strong" response to N1H1 threat by running pictures of "happy" kids who just got their N1H1 shots in various remote regions of Russia.

You have a point. HOwever, Russia does not need your help. Their current unemployment is 20%+, their birthrate is way below their death rate, many people are leaving to find better working conditions elsewhere. I think Russia can ruin her own currency without anyone else's help.

The last time I was in Ukraine a friend gave me an antique Russia 5 ruble note. It was dated 1909. He explained that when new the note could buy two cows, now it wouldn't even buy a glass of milk. I realize that Russian regime has changed a number of times since then and that inflation has been horrendous but still?? It makes you think.
