While you are still free in China telling lies and misinformation like above, it shows how disgraceful and dishonest you are to your integrity and mentality! Shame on you!

''This time he was wearing the Mao suit, which shows he has consolidated his power over the military,'' said Mr Huang.
Who is this Huang? Didn't he know its called ZhongShan suit, because it was first worn by Sun Yat-sen, the founder of ROC? Or maybe the name is intentionally twisted to play to the western audience?

Pink Elephant wrote: China is the 167th most corrupt country in the world!!! Taiwan is only the 39th most corrupt country. China has no press freedom eg. websites continually blocked and tv continually monitored. China people spit, and never line up, and never say please and thank you, and always talk very very loudly, and put MSG in food, and men take off their top clothes when its hot, and they smoke everywhere including restaraunts, and they talk behind your back all the time, and the men are like children because they get jealous when you talk to their girlfriend, and they almost never play team sports, and they listen to TERRIBLE chinese pop music, and they are so narrowminded they know nothing about other cultures, and they eat noisily with mouths open, and if there is an accident they just stand around and take photos and they always buy and sell fake goods because they are selfish and only think about themselves. And air pollution, noise pollution, water pollution etc... Ever heard of Taiwanese or white people wanting to immigrate to China? hahaha!!!! There is more, but you could write a whole book on bad things about Chinese, and still only cover 1% of the things. Taiwanese have far better manners and enjoy far more democracy than China. Taiwan is the Republic of China. It has its own laws, own passport, own govermment, own military, own visa offices, own money, and they are welcomed overseas by many countries. When mainland chinese go overseas, everyone tries to avoid them. They have manners of wild pigs, but because face is important to Chinese, they don't like to admit their weaknesses (which are far to many). The sad thing about the Chinese is that most of them can't see how many flaws they have. Taiwan is heaven compared to China. The Taiwanese say, if God was a Chinaman, they would choose to go to hell. I fully agree. The Chinese are so used to living in hell, that when they do go there, they fit in straight away. I am amazed that you haven't killed yourself. I am even more amazed that you still live in Chongqing. Before you can still post on Topix, why don't you do yourself a favor to got away from China? Go back to where you belong, So you won't have to threat everybody that you want to kill yourself ( you have done it before, remember?), like there is anyone who cares what you do.

If you want to be taken seriously, you should at least get the facts right, instead of pulling number out of your rare.

On a scale of zero to 10, zero is the best 1. Singapore, 1.07 .... 8. China, 6.16 From a businessman's standpoint it has to be said that hongbao offerings to officials to grease the tracks of commerce is not at all anathematic but the risk is in there being not enough certainty, or lack of a sort of equilibrium conducive to any up to scratch cost benefit calculations. And it's not cruical either for the objective of such ranking system for there to be zero and/or various gradations in severity of corruption; this is not the point. Take the cases of Spore and China; perhaps what's sufficient for present purpose is an observation that Spore with its size fits the classic definition of a sewn up burg; the pecking order is not only defined but ACTUALLY honoured in practise. Compared to that China for all its touted centalized command system looks like a motley crews of competing if not bumbling extortioners, with the differences between Beijing central and/among various regional/provincial centres playing out as an altogether different proposition to normal business practises. Too many proverbial hands out from one too many diverse quarters.

Nothing like an historical point of interest to appeal to readers' imagination. But for the easily offended, it's perhaps a relief to learn that that commercialized fads have seized upon the style, however it shall forthwith be known, and one's pretty certain in the inside lapel of some specimen found on the bodies of many a celebrity type of Chinese/pro Chinese persuasion one's liable to come upon the brand 'Shanghai Tang', HK based outfitters to the loaded and effete. Still the hongqi sedan provided a no small symbol of comfort and reassurance to the ever dwindling faithfuls.

And your point being? No one is comparing China with Singapore. Singapore style governance is what China seeks to achieve.

And I could care less if the "mao" suit on Hu has a inside label of "Shanghai Tang". It is not about fashion or the outfitter, but some individual intentionally mislead the western audiences with misnomer and cold-war era political jargon.

The principle at work here is not unlike that which drives Chinese parents packing their broods off for an expensive overseas, almost by default an Anglospheric, education, to contrive for that all purpose pedigree that stands one in better stead, instead of merely leaving it to hard works, when doors are to be breached. Hardly as ideal and surely not original as midwivery by the highest plenipotentiary there can be from the same Anglosphere but in term of acquiring that patina of universal acceptability, it could save one's Chinese closets from being scrutinized too excessively. But still for all that the differences shall remain; from a family business there for the preened scions to return to inherit, to compete essentially up the chain of a corporate like structure rife with the usual parochialism which could put paid to any personal goal of dynastic succession.

I have no moral to say the least, more cunning and arrogant than most. Now I use media to lie and confuse to maintain my standing. See, that is how you got your handle to confuse! This is a gross evil which I did. Exceedingly evil indeed!
