From the executioner on down to the investigative body, to the arresting person, to the Judge and Jury. Every single one involved in the outcome of death as a sentence, will bear the Karma for that action.

Think.

Would that curse be specific to Russia, or also applicable to other countries that have the death penalty? i.e. the USA too?

Sure is. See, if it is against the Law ( as in any Nation) to kill, then here in America why are the States in business doing just that? Texas? Its a conveyor belt of death sentences.

A British study showed it is not a deterant. A number of studies show this as well.

That argument can me manipulated both ways.

Studies don't make laws; parliaments, congress or national assemblies do! Usually, but not always, the legislators reflect the wishes of society, traditions or beliefs.

So far, there has ben no alternative to the death penalty for removing permanently a criminal from society without giving him the chance to reappear later, or enjoy the comforts of life denied to his victims.

In the Supreme Court Building in Washington DC are the ultimate reflections in the Murals painted there.

Moses. And the Ten Commandments.

If not for those so entrusted with such a heavy tapestry of Mans becoming Man. Then who? The whims of current fashion, ie. the reflections? What mirror is it within which these reflections occur?

Moses isn't ruling America, surely?

Maybe the death penalty should be put to a referendum to let the people decide.

I am sick of so-called 'experts' and do-gooders telling us what we should believe.

One more dance around the Golden Calf, seemingly seems to be the trend. And , sadly so.

It would be better if you didn't always speak with parabols, but in plain English. I gave up Bible studies 45 years ago!!

What are you trying to say?

The attempt, as you alluded to, is not mine to understand. Rather yours. Trying to say?

One is left from the picture you drew, with an image of surrender.

"I gave up"

Within this picture, your hands raised up so. Who did you surrender to?

One more dance around the Golden Calf.

From where did Moses descend to find such a spectacle?

Is that what is so difficult for you to misintrepret as a charade?

I do say, it is most important in understanding the depictions, rather Murals of Art within the halls of Justice in America! Moses and his Ten Commandments.

It is not from mere frivality such as this is reprented. Nor, of such to portend in an errant meaning, a charade.

Here, here now. Fine sir. I bid thee no malevolence.

Of that which you posted you proclaimed, in so much as stating, "I gave UP the Bible 45 years ago'.
That speaks both in image and form to something given. To whom or what was it given to?

Why is the Statue of Justice blindfolded?

Impartiality. Justice, as it portends itself, is not to have preconcieved notions.

To set a course of death is in itself, a preconceived notion.

To "give up" means to abandon, to stop, to part with, to surrender, and not to make present or to offer.

If that had been the case I would have said I gave the Bible to ...

I gave up Bible study when I finally left the religious school I was forced to attend, and never looked back since. I am an atheist!!

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Virgo

You aren't fooling anyone - it's easy for everyone else to see that inexperienced people are unaware of their obligations, Virgo. You're grumpy about starting a familiar process from the beginning again, but don't let that get in the way of getting on with it. Sour grapes have no place in your daily dealings. Although you may 'own' a project, it's ultimately in the hands of someone else. Deal with it and then move on.
