Georgia's Saakashvili Spends American Money Better Than Americans

Full story: english.pravda.ru

While there are many, many things that can be said negatively about Misha the Tie Eater : demagogue, liar, thief, mass murderer and coward, a positive can be given: he spends other people's money well. Of course, lucky Americans are not only spending on Georgia’s new trees, bushes and new found cleanliness, they are also paying for the most militarized nation in the world. A nation of 4 million has 260,000 men under arms either on active service or in reserves, that is 6.5% of the population under arms officially and does not count the tens of thousands of police, special police, interior ministry troops and special forces. Never mind that most of that military ability was destroyed in only six days and is now again being replaced by the US taxpayer’s endless gratitude of debt.

WEEEEll America has a lot of money and when it doesn't it just prints it so it shouldn't bother them too much, except that they keep asking the question if Obama is going to tax the middle class again...

And you know, they are going to spend lots of money pretending to be interested in spreading democracy, when all they want is as many bases as possible in order to try to control gas transit routes or to steal oil and gas assets in the former Soviet Union....

What hypocrisy.... supporting the Georgian Government who is bent on genociding the people of Abkazia and South Ossetia, so there will be nobody to fight for their lands...

It was indeed a lie. Remember how they first claimed that 2000 ossetians died. You see. Everything they say is a lie.
But because of Stalin I find it hard to trust you georgians.

Himmler and Goebbels looked a bit asian. Goebbels had a huge disproportionally large head and Goebbels was very small like most asians.

Himmler had an asian face and was only 174cm tall. Oh well since Germany was invaded by Attila the Hun and huns so maybe that explains it why many of them look like asians.

I have nothing against Hermann Göring. Who do you think sent Josef Veltjens to Finland? That"s right Hermann Göring.
Göring should have just bombed those air fields and not the cities and by doing that he would have won the Battle of Britain.

People are getting pissed off here every day. US government officials were able to pull off this crap when the economy here was great and the people didn't care what US policy was but now the tide has changed with major layoffs and housing foreclosures, Americans are very concerned about internal problems for example how to feed their families, how their children will be able to go to college or how to pay their mortgage.

Wisely sad about Huns, but Britain had a great air-force during WW2 it was not easy to defeat them.

then they should care about government spending in general. I note that neo-cons are exploding all over the shop about current government spending at home, but I don';t hear any noise about money spent overseas.
Although, there has been some noise about cutting aid to Israel, which basically means cutting back on the yearly military billion dollar december shipment.
But apart from the odd nutcases on internet forums, I don't think americans walk the streets through lack of sleep about Russia, or any of its actions.

So, just what is the Robert Gates/Military machine adgenda?

That's true, Even Hitler's buzz bombs and V-2 rockets targeting civilians couldn't shake the British will.

Saakashvili should have learned from Hitler's experience and realized he had no hope of reclaiming S. Ossetia by imitating him.

Georgia accused of targeting civilians

Eyewitnesses have described how its tanks fired directly into an apartment block, and how civilians were shot at as they tried to escape the fighting.

I agree with facts in this sleazy web-site, I’m not so sure about conclusions derived. Looking at hard lessons of Vietnam, one would wonder, why South Vietnam failed to fight on its own, but Israel did. The same time frame 1967. Other word, may be it is CHEAPER to invest into country which promote your agenda and willing to fight, rather to send your own troops there? I think we have to continue military support of Georgia, making oil deals in Azerbaijan to cover for this expense

Ah, so the BBC is now a paid Russian propaganda shill?

Your mind has been so thoroughly brainwashed that there's nothing left to grow back.

EVERYONE in the world knows now that Georgia attacked S. Ossetia, killed UN mandated Russian peacekeepers and Russia responded with overwhelming force, according to NATO's own rules.

You're lucky that Tbilisi was left untouched and not bombed back into the stone age.
