Russia says West is blocking UN resolution on Georgia peace deal

Russia's foreign minister said on Thursday that Western nations are blocking Moscow's plans for a non-violence pact between Georgia and its rebel region of Abkhazia by insisting on the return of Georgian refugees.

Russia had presented a draft resolution to the United Nations Security Council calling for a deal on the non-use of force between Georgia and Abkhazia, amid rising tensions and fears of military conflict. The return of Georgian refugees from Abkhazia had been proposed in a Germany-sponsored peace plan and sought by Tbilisi.

It is quite obvious the NATO bear's motives. They can not tolerate a peaceful outcome because they need "to blame the chaos on Moskva" as part of their deception campaign to "occupy eastern Europe".
This is about North American domination of the continent under the imperial auspices of NATO. The plan is to provoke the Russian Federation, claim they started it and then occupy the rest of eastern Europe.
This empire is "the focus of evil in our modern world".
Agreed?

To put it another way, NATO is "the evil empire". Once they get their tentacles around a nation it is quite impossible to disengage.

Only the worst sort of imperialism.

Eastern europe welcomes NATO with open arms. If all those russian emigrants and their decendants that live in those territories they are more than welcomed to move back to russia. The doors are wide open. This article is nothing but part of that retards putins blame game. Russia is always innocent. All the genocides those russian morons have committed are ok because everyone else did it. All the crap going on in chechnya and surrounding regions is not russias fault. GET OFF THE DRUGS.

PS Since eastern/central/western europe is stuck with all the refugees trying to escape the russian sh@thole russia should be paying for it with their oil and gas money

Anyone who is such a simpleton they welcome NATO and slavery at the hands of the Anglo-American empire quite deserves to be dominated.
Since Russia has this oil and gas it is the EU and China "who will be paying the price". It is called capitalism, I suppose Canadians unfamiliar with the concept.

I hope Russia in near future will officially recognize the independence of Abkhazia and South Osetia. Those people deserve to be free, and to unite with Russia(if they would chose it by democratic referendum). Also Russia should give a good answer to western biggotry of recognizing Kosovo's independence.

Yes, the Canadians are familiar with capitalism. Unfortunately we have simpleton Peter, the dumb Uke living here. I would personally buy him a one way ticket back to the Ukraine so he doesn't further disgrace Canada and the Canadian people with his vulgarities.
You are correct. NATO is a group of thugs lead by the U.S.A. to further their New World Order. I personally doubt their success.

Perhaps you should check out Wikipedia? The Russian Empire and the Soviet Union no longer exist. The Warsaw Pact no longer exists. It is all entirely in your head. There is no "raison d'etre" for NATO. Now it is only "an enslaving occupation army" for the Anglo-American empire.

Why is russia trying to start a war with georgia using proxy country abhazia? Are you blind? When there were no US/NATO troops in georgia and ukraine all the time you heard about russian aircraft going into georgian/abhazia airspace and clashes between georgian and abhazian (pro-russian) forces. Now with US troops there it all just stopped and you hear about some chechens in russian uniforms who left their posts because they were ordered to attack georgian checkpoints. Can you provide me with an explanation?

Oh come now Peter, calm down. You've got your shorts tied in a knot.
How is it going to help Ukraine if it joins NATO?
Russia certainly doesn't want Ukraine to be part of it's federation. Too much trouble.
Russia is too busy building it's economy and trying to make things better for their people to be bothered by a dysfunctional country like Ukraine.
Thieves? I seem to recall that it was the Ukrainians who were siphoning (stealing) Russian natural gas destined for other countries not so long ago.
Shame on you Peter for not speaking out against these UKrainian thieves.
I believe that it was in December of 1991, when the KGB was officially dismantled. Foreign observers saw the end of the KGB as a sign that democracy would prevail in Russia.
In short Peter, there hasn't been a KGB organization since 1991. WTF are you spewing about?

Most likely it is in response to what NATO did to the Balkans (we Serbians understand NATO well). If there is an aggressive expansionist empire encroaching your territory it only makes sense to "expand your own reach".
Remember as soon as the Soviet Union and Warsaw Pact were gone the "evil empire" started plans for NATO's eastward expansion. Is it any wonder "the new Russian Federation" saw this as a threat to be countered?
