MORE FROM THE NEWS: Aside from public service, the “Pondahan” segment is also famous among early birds and political afficionados. Set in front of a small Sari-sari store or “pondahan”, lively exchange of ideas and opinions on political and social issues transpire every morning, just like what you experienced back home (if you’re a pinoy). Comments coming from all directions often result into a wacky tête-à-tête which is a “Pondahan” trademark. Local and foreign News/Current Affairs is also featured in the program.

Other rated programs that you can watch are: “Itanong Mo Kay Soriano-Biblia ang Sasagot"- a question and answer program regarding the bible. Hosted by Bro. Eli Soriano; dubbed as “The Most Sensible Preacher of our time” for his fearless and straight forward answers on bible related inquiries. “Ang Dating Daan”(The Old Path)- already on its 29th year of broadcast, the program deals with the true doctrines of the Holy Bible. Discover the pure and unadulterated teachings of Jesus Christ to his apostles and to the Christians of our time! Also hosted by Bro. Eli Soriano. “Bitag"- hosted by Ben Tulfo, a no nonsense program that tackles crime related issues. He exposes the most feared criminals and their criminal acts, even tracking them down to help authorities apprehend these outlawed characters. His missions are recorded and presented to the viewers whether he succeeds or not. Anything that the people need for their awareness and safety on the modus operandi of syndicates is discussed in detail in the program.

I am quite fond of this segment. It just completes my day, this show. Knowing that public service is still alive in the Philippines makes me want to pack my bags and go home.

Among the TV shows I love in UNTV37 are as follows: 1) KNC Show Now four years and still growing! The KNC or Kawan ng Cordero, Flock of Lambs,(KNC), Show teaches children what they need to know to be a good family member, friend and citizen of the nation using the Bible as basis. The Kawan ng Cordero,(Flock of Lambs)(KNC), of the Members Church of God International are composed of children whose minds are still young, innocent, free from the pollutions of this world and keen to absorb good values that they will bring when they grow. In this age, they are already taught of the principles of God read in the Holy Bible. The KNC is the Children's Ministry formed by Brother Eli Soriano to nurture children about Christian way of living through bible story readings, biblical topic lessons, bible-centered competitions and talent searches. 2.) Mapalad ang Bumabasa Daniel Razon reads and invites the viewers to read one chapter of the New Testament nightly. UNTV37 has the complete ingredients of learning how to do good things in God's way.

Enough of these slum ABSCBN or whatever. CULTURE shockerssssssss The channel is not for Australians. It is for people in the global village in need of salvation. If you don't need salvation, it is not for you.

This will be a very good news for our fellow Filipinos in Australia. UNTV has unique styles of programs, very much different from the other television stations in the Philippines.

Some people do not like talk about God. They would rather talk about other things like clothes, cars, house, the next purchase, plans for the future as though they would live forever. They want the fun without any authority coming in between. There's that ad - a come on'er - saying, "There's probably no God." In UNTV, you won't find gyrating barely-clad females that is common to ABS-CBN and GMA.
