US$20,000 dinner claim called a lieBy MADEL R. SABATERAugust 15, 2009, 5:39pmDays after the media feasted on the alleged US$20,000 dinner tab of the FAKE President Arroyo and her entourage at the Le Cirque restaurant in New York, the contact manager of Le Cirque has belied an earlier report that has made Arroyo’s dinner in New York very controversial.

In a letter to Press Secretary Cerge Remonde, Philippine Consul General in New York Cecilia Rebong disclosed that the August 14 to 21, 2009 issue of the Filipino Reporter in New York reported that the $20,000 dinner tab controversy is a “lie,” based on an interview with Le Cirque contact manager Mario Wainer.

Wainer was quoted as saying,“it’s a lie” and “it’s far from the truth.” He said:“President Arroyo and her group had dinner here (Le Cirque) just like everyone else.”

“The $20,000 dinner tab was not true,” Rebong also said.

She added:“The article said the Filipino Reporter suggested to Mr. Wainer ‘that in the light of conflicting claims in Manila and by critics of Mrs. Arroyo and by the New York Post, on one hand, and the President’s men, on the other, perhaps, Le Cirque should issue a statement to clarify the issue.’ However, Mr. Wainer replied that we (Le Cirque) do not involve ourselves in politics.”

The Arroyo administration found itself in hot water after a New York Post article dated August 7 revealed that the President and some of her entourage ordered a sumptuous meal and paid $20,000 during her US state visit

But Malacañang said that the dinner was not extravagant as reported.
..........
The FAKE President of cebu Gloria Arroyo, Supporters say, The $20,000. Thousand dinner was a lie. If it is a lie, Then Gloria should sue the newspapers so that she can make more money for her retirement.

Better yet why not show proof that she didn't spend the taxespayer's money. But truth of the matter is she's been spending the taxespayer's money like water. Especially when she have a bag lady given plenty of money to her cronies. And bag lady paying the dinner bills on CASH.

In Arroyo’s time, however, even when there was clear evidence of corruption, cheating, lying and stealing in the top echelons of Malacanang, Arroyo included, the CBCP, in its pastoral letters, was very soft on Arroyo, and even asked Arroyo to lead the fight against corruption.

It was also a time when some of the bishops were found to have accepted bribes from Arroyo and Malacañang, in cash and in kind.

Now, We all know why Tita cory didn't succeed on kicken her ass from her stolen power, Because she's supported by the corrupt people thats including PNP/AFP/JUDIARY'S/BISHOP and evil society's.

An executive jet for Malacañang? Why now, when she only has some nine months left to her term?

Why just now, when all this time, Gloria Arroyo never really traveled in the beat-up planes that the Palace says are no longer safe for travel for the Chief Executive, since she flies on jets owned by her cronies?

Like the mysterious leap-frogging in the First Couple’s wealth since she took over the presidency in 2001, the sudden search for an executive jet by the Office of the FAKE President was the latest jaw-dropping whim of Queen of THIEVES. Gloria!

She wants to buy jet so that she can use it anytime she want so that nobody can find out what she's doing. Especially when she's stealing the taxespayer's money.

The options for her, meantime, are narrowing to bargaining for a safe exit with her probable successor in next year’s elections.

Still, it would be unsure if the next president would provide a mantle of protection for her when the public demands that Gloria and her cabal account for their sins.

It is thus tempting to associate the sudden rush to buy a jet and the narrowing political horizon of Gloria in the run-up to next year’s elections.

A fast and safe getaway definitely is on Gloria’s list of options. Perhaps the jet is it?

Ha, Ha. I guess the jet is her get away when filipino people going to kick her ass out if she ever try to stay into her stolen power forever.

P632M unliquidated cash

“Congress should investigate Pres. Arroyo for violating ani-graft law. She is liable for five years imprisonment and perpetual disqualification,” pahayag ni Colmenares.

Hindi inyo puede ipakulong si PEKENG presidenti ng dahil she's supported by the corrupt people who help install her into her stolen power. Not atleast you forget when we try to impeach her, Her cronies just trash the case because they were saying they have the numbers. This is one of the reason why the Philippines keep going down under because of these idiots. Working for government for them only by the numbers. As we all can see it the only reason Gloria Arroyo, Et al. Kick the duly elected President Joseph Estrada, So that they're the one can rob the government coffer.

No wonder they're doing everything in their power to change the constitution law; so that they can stay into their stolen power forever. After all there is plenty of money to be made while in Malacanyang Palace. I'll say, Kick them out.

“After Class ‘76, we are rightfully next in line. Class ‘77 boasts of its skilled officials such as Ding Ferrer, Ruperto Pabustan, Ricardo David, Jaime Buenaflor, Pete Tango, Perfecto Palad, Raul Bacalzo and Ireneo Bacolod as examples,” anang isa sa Class ‘77.

.........
Class 78 is one of AFP who is protecting the FAKE president Gloria Arroyo, They're the one going to declare war against its own people. In order for Gloria Arroyo, to stay in power. This is one of the reason why they're going to buy a JET so they can use it in their operation.
.........

“She is one of the few who reportedly enjoys the trust and confidence of President Arroyo. Poblador was also reported to be the ‘mystery woman’ who paid the intrigue-laden dinner of FAKE President Arroyo in a first-rate restaurant in New York,” anang isa pang source.
........
Yes, Its true! and the money she paid for the $35,000. Dinner is from the taxespayer's money.
........

MANILA, Philippines--An officer of the Philippine Consulate in New York has sent a memorandum to the Office of the Press Secretary, saying the New York Post report on the pricey dinner of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and her party at the swanky Le Cirque restaurant in New York City on August 2 was inaccurate.
......
If the story in NY newspapers is not true then usued the newspapers, So that Gloria Arroyo, make plenty of money for her retirement. Mga ungoy!
......
New York Consul General Cecilia Rebong cited a Filipino-American weekly's story on the alleged $20,000 tab, in the memorandum dated August 14, to Press Secretary Cerge Remonde.

Rebong told Remonde that Manny Caballero, writer of the Filipino Reporter, had interviewed Le Cirque's contact manager Mario Wainer and wrote a story about the dinner that came out in the paper's August 14-21 issue.

In the story, "Mr. Wainer was quoted as saying `It's a lie' and `It's far from the truth," Rebong said, adding that Wainer said Arroyo and her entourage "had dinner here like everyone else."

Remonde refused to answer follow-up questions.

Rebong furnished him a copy of Caballero's story, and vouched for the credibility of the weekly, Remonde said.

"Let the document speak for itself," Remonde said, when asked if Malacañang was standing by the document.

The dinner, which appeared in the online edition of the New York Post, set off a furor in the Philippines where most Filipinos live in poverty.

After the New York Post story came out, the Washington Post posted a report in its blog site that the President and her entourage also had dinner at Bobby Van’s Steakhouse after meeting with President Obama on July 30. The dinner for a party of 65 reportedly cost $15,000.

24/7 hotline, assistance center
Si PEKENG PRESIDENTI GLORIA ARROYO, MY 24/7 HOTLINE SIYA, Anytime she call them they all come because she's been given them plenty of money to protect her from her stolen power. The rest can go hang!
......
She will also work to ensure that all Philippine posts overseas will have a 24/7 assistance hotline and center that will provide OFWs in distress with the immediate financial, technical and legal assistance.

Likewise, a repatriation fund is on top of Legarda’s agenda for OFWs in her first 100 days in office.

Last December, Legarda assisted in the repatriation of 12 OFWs trafficked in Malaysia.

“Wala pong repatriation fund na emergency ang ating mga embahada at konsulado na dapat gawin natin po,” she said.

Lastly, Legarda also sees the need to have a skills development training and free scholarship program for the OFW family. The fund, she said, would come from the billion-dollar OWWA fund.

“Dapat gamitin talaga sa ating overseas Filipino workers.
.........
kong gagamitin ng government ang "OWWA FUND" for OFW'S Gloria Arroyo, Is not going to have any money left for her $35,000. Thousand dollars dinner. Ano siya tanga!

Hopefully the US will not fall into the trap prepared for them by secret fascists, as these had controlled their media and other institutions as evident by the use of ignorant America as military tool for oil war profiteerings.

Be vigilant about the trap of enslaving America by destroying her from within thru puppet trash media corrupting her culture towards the ultimate plan of totalitarian super-capitalism by corrupt world governments. That may be the case when Americans remain ignorant to the vile manipulations.

Unfortunately, ignorant Filipinos also tend to ape their American counterparts.

You are right about that. Problem here is "stronger gov'ment", loads of new laws and tax increases as well.

Much of this move is inspired/directed by the EU and the Vatican though.

Actually, the US had almost nearly fallen to the trap, had not Obama won. But then American politics seemed ruled from both arms infiltrated by the same master puppeteers. Americans need to be extra smart to decipher the manipulations, but then trash entertainment media puppetry conspired to the dumbing down of society, Filipino apers included.

I believe it would be tragic had Bush & Co. agenda won. By then your dream would turn into nightmare as they had started corrupting it, recall the hoax of WMD excuse of invading Iraq, and the excuse of "homeland security" at the expense of selling your privacy rights. American freedom had been continually been sold like merchandise by the fascists and they were able to do so due to continued ignorance of its citizens.
