Palace rejects call to include GMA in communion ban

Malacañang rejected yesterday an opposition clamor for the inclusion of President Arroyo in the proposed communion ban of the Catholic Church over alleged violations of its teachings.

Amid criticisms over the President’s ineffective family planning programs, Deputy Presidential Spokesman Anthony Golez said that the government doesn’t expect anything good to come out from its critics "because of a big question on their intentions."

Earlier, the Black and White Movement, a civil society group, called on the Catholic Church to refuse communion to President Arroyo. The group said the Church should extend its ban on communion not only to pro- abortion politicians but to President Arroyo and others whom they consider to have committed mortal sins against the Church.

What to do?

Many lawmakers have argued that poverty in the country could be attributed to over-population.

To be fair, start first with the sex abusive Priests and Bishops. Include those who have big tummies (meaning they eat a lot & drinks hard liquor). They should share their food to the poor. Include those nuns who are acting "prima donna". When I was in Davao, I greeted a nun, but she snobbed me. Why, because I was walking to Church, while she was coming down from her van with a driver. Rich one. Mata pobre and materialistic na pala ang mga madre. For sure the Priests too...

There are four ways to control the population: war, famine, disease and birth control/family planning. Why is it that only one is considered immoral? The church's moral compass is all screwed up. But what should we expect from those who are more concerned about religious orthidoxy than the quality of people's lives?

Anybody who has no sin, raise your hands? Of course, you could not see more hands down than up among the Clergy and laity. They preach that if you ask forgiveness for your sins, definitely, you're forgiven. So the giving of communion is not an issue anymore.

For those who are obviously very angry with GMA, relax and breathe some fresh air. Sorry to disappoint you, but I don't believe in hearsay.

I have never taken communion, nor have I asked for it. What the church does is none of my business and I don't give a d*@ what the church has to say about it. I would like to keep it that way, that is why we have separation of church and state.

Majority of Filipinos are catholics. The culture of respect and adulation to priests and nuns are without reservation. But they're human beings too not immune to immoral principles. So for them to announce to the whole world whom they will give communion or not is immoral.

Satan is provoking somebody who always talks of evil and hanging the President. Go away Satan and save the soul of the innocent because she/he does not know what she/he is saying.
