Fineline is a type of a patriot. However, I have pointed out to him before that Pakistan cannot really join the modernity and real development unless it becomes secular democracy. Its constitution and education systems need to be changed. Fineline then gets confused. Any other develpment will be transient or in the interest of few corrupt and foreign interests. Over the years the US has poured money again and again and they got grief when the atacks were found to be planned in Pakistan.

A well-written and well-conceived post, sir. Yes, it needs to become secular. It needs modern institutions. Otherwise it will remain mired in endemic backwardness and corruption. Unfortunately it has never had someone like Kemal Ataturk or Gemal Abdel Nasser.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Gemini

If you're currently keeping something secret it will really start to prey on your mind today and you'll worry about blurting it out at the wrong moment. It's one of those days in which you're absent-minded and completely wrapped up in your own thoughts. As a result, it will be hard to concentrate on anything else and this won't go down well in certain quarters.
