Interesting.I have also read that many maoris trace ancestry to medieval china.A Chinese boat landed in new-zealand long before Europeans. Some of the chinese stayed and mixed with local maoris.

The maori could trace their ancestry from the Yin-Shang period in China. Yin-Shang people spread beyond China. The American Indians, the Inca Indians and the natives of South East Asia are their descendants too. Notice their fond of tattoos.

Realistically, the Polynesians originated from the Chinese island of Taiwan over 3,000 years ago.

The only problem is that there were no Chinese in Taiwan 3000 years ago. They were a Malay race like you find in the Phillipe, Indonesia, or Hawaii.
Chinese mercantile came later and assimilate them. The only true Malay Taiwanese native live in Taiwan mountains far from big cities. They live in reserves.

But yes some Maoris have Chinese DNA because the Chinese were there long before whites. Some say they Chinese even travel as far as California.

In Africa they have proof that ancient Chinese did commence with them.
In Zanzibar,Tanzania, they analyse DNA and found Chinese ancestry among people living in that port region.

This is because , thousand years ago, Chinese merchant stayed there because there boat left.Or there boat got sunk and they stayed there.

In Peru the Chinese may had reached the Incas. Many Inca have Chinese DNA.

I would be more interested in seeing reenactments of the cultural genocide, committed by your chairman Mao.

Do we also get an encore, with reenactments of following generations denying it?
I would possibly buy matinee tickets if that was the case.

Correct, and you call the New Zealand Genocide the "Maoris Wars."

why,, I was very amused to read all the misconceptions of the maori race, and their DNA.
The only Chinese DNA a maori would have, would be in his stomach. They was very partial to Chinese. When the gold ran out in the 1800,s many maori died of hunger. The Chinese were looked upon with great affection, by this very war like race,
Now you also talk about genocide, dont believe a bar of it.. The Maori loved a good rumble,, still do,, and the settlers here were all of pict,s scots Irish and viking stock, geez,, we been rumbling for 1000,s of yrs, we love it,, its in our genes,, or DNA,, whatever,, anyway, cut a long story short,, it was all over to quickly,, and we both admire each othe hugely,, you wanna go watch an all blacks match some day,, and see the Haka.
Now getting back to that Maori village,, you guys wanna be very careful there,, you inviting them,, remember the greeks asking the trojens in with their wooden horse???,, If i was you Ray,, and uncle willie fargo nelson,, I,d lock up your women,, them Maoris still have a taste for Chinese you know,,, its in their jeans

That's correct, by ending slavery, feudalism and Theocracy in DaLIE Lama's Old Tibet. Doing a good job with modernization.

I believe I have already addressed ad hominems in this thread. You seem incapable of debating the issues you quite readily throw around. You talk nonsense and attack people, whilst screaming about crack pot conspiracies. A genocide against the maori? give me a break!!
When you are capable of defending your stance, come back to me. If all you can do is call people nazi and prattle off about things that make no sense, perhaps it is time you furthered your own education and learned just exactly what a discussion forum is about.

Your comment made me smile you know.Under the tone of misspelling words you employed, I recognized a little Aussie or Scott accent. I have no idea if you are whitty KIWI or Maoris KIWI or Aussie.I'm not sure about what you mean for the word "rumble".Perhaps you employ that word differently in Australia/Zealand.

But your racism is very cunning and surreptitious because am still reading, trying to decipher what you've wrote. You lack of vocabulary signal to me that you might be one of those brute kiwi Rugby player. Perhaps the Maoris are mostly in the other team that you hate.

Genocide against Maoris is historical fact. 200,000 Maoris in 1800, down to 46,000 in 1893.
