So sorry to hear you have lost your integrity Iceland and are surrendering to the Beast! The European Union is a centrally controlled dictatorship of the elite, with decision making out of the hands of the people. You have been set up for a fall.

May I appeal to ALL my Friends in Island to NOT vote to join the EU - YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR FISH, YOUR LOVELY COUNTRY WILL BE SWAMPED BY GREEDY eu PEOPLE WANTING TO BUY YOU OUT AND PUSH UP THE PRICE OF HOUSING AND TAKE OVER ALL YOUR BUSINESSES, AND YOU SOON WILL BECOME LIKE THE REST OF THE eu, RUN BY FQCELESS NAMELESS UNANSWERABLE BUROCRATS, ACTING FOR BIG INTERNATIONAL CONCERNS. IF YOU DONT BELEIVE ME COME AND SEE WHAT HQS HAPPENED IN THE HEBRIDES OFF THE WEST OF SCTOLAND - ONCE WE HAD PEOPLE WHO LIVED FROM FISHING, NOW OUR FLEET ROTS ON THE SHORE & OUR OLD EX FISHERMEN DRINK THEMSLEVES TO DEATH SLOWLY, LIVING ON SOCIAL SECURITY.

You have defeated volcanic eruptions, storms, everything thrown at you for over a thousand years. If you give in now you will be very sorry.

I warn you, because I love you and your country and hate the thought of it being ruined by others.

Love,

Briar

As above. It's not a 'scare story' - it's true. Don't do it. Fight them with every fibre in your body. Don't let them take you as well. You WILL be sorry. Remain independent. Even if they try to bribe you as they have to many other nations. Just say no.

The problem with this kind of freedom is that you need to eat and the hot of the vulvanos or only the fish is not enought to it. The risk is to became a new Albania or Cuba. Itīs not easy without Wall Street money

Iceland has gotten along well before independently and can continue to do so.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Aquarius

If you're still happily munching chocolates and all sorts of other goodies, you'll have to take yourself in hand at some point during the coming fortnight. Maybe you'll have to compensate for all the festive over-eating by taking more exercise or cutting back on the calories, or perhaps you'll decide that you can't delay giving up smoking any longer. As Mercury turns in your twelfth house of secrets, messages you receive at this time may be very subtle or contain hidden meanings meant only for your understanding.
