Haitian protesters trade food riots for jobs
The demonstrators who ignited last month's violent protests against rising food prices in Haiti have accepted U.S.-sponsored jobs rather than follow through on a threat to launch new riots.

I suggest you read "The Uses of Haiti" by Paul Farmer and you will find the answers to all of your questions, so you will not continue to blame the victims in this situation.

Give Preval a chance. He is by far the best President that Haiti has had since before baby doc.
Perhaps now Haiti can select a PM who represents Haiti rather than the Donors. Suggest EP resign from the IDB. He does not appear to have much sense when dealing with the political process. |
