Tourist jumps off Guyana waterfall, presumed dead

It's very sad for the family to try and figure out why this young lady did what she did. My prayers are with the families and friends.

It is hard to believe that a smart young woman like herself would end her life in such a tragic way! That is a really CrAzY way to die! Personally, I believe she had problems that she did not want to share with anyone. She was "book smart" yes, but maybe she did not know how to handle or deal with other problems that comes with being alive. God will take care of her now. She will be at peace with him by her side.

my sympathy go out to aliya bulkan family . shes so young and beautiful. there are lots of reasons behind that suicide ----i guess .wish i could help ---if i could-----to bring her back alive . anyway , im just curious about why wasnt the army used on all ocassions when other people/children go missing .they were lots of times that children was kidnapped/missing .even the police didnt heklp. but there was so much help for aliya and everyone knows that this kind of service is not given to everyone .im glad that they recovered aliyas body .they did a good job . i hope the same treatment is given to everyone whos missing/kidnapped or the ppp govt and army and police will look like fools----again .
