Catholic Church - Apuron will issue statement at 4 p.m.

What business does the Archibishop have to do with the State of Guam. He has NO right under the US Constitution to speak to anyone in Government except that he is a Vatican diplomat and only then at the Federal Level. States and Territories may not have diplomatic rights with foreign governments of which the Catholic Church is such a Government. I wish to remind everyone that in the United States of which Guam is very much a part of ---that Church and State are separate and NO religion, whatever it maybe, has any right in state affairs.

Oh know we know---more spewing out more of the Hatred and denial of peoples civil rights promulgated by a fascist, Nazi pope. This may seem harsh but this pope has not escaped his horrid past---the baggage is still in his thinking.

The Archbishop may tell his people what they may or may not do in his church (and they do not have to obey him in this Country) but he may not do so in a house of Government or tell the Government what Laws it will or will not have.

Gay people contribute heavily to the economy of Guam---from abroad and within the Island---is this Archbishop trying to cover up perhaps his own homophobic homosexuality by spewing out the same kind of hatred like the former Governor of New Jersey did and the Senator who was caught in flagrante delecto at the Minnesota Airport?

So it sounds like this Archbishop has attempted unlawfully to spin some corrupt deal with those who might be members of his church. Are we to have another Krystalnacht here or a Night of the Long Knives?

Is it not strange that the folks who claim to be Christians are anything but the Devil incarnate themselves in their Hypocrisy?

Under the U.S. Constitution, EVERYONE has the right to express their opinions regardless of whether other people disagrees with you. It's called Freedom of Expression. The Archbishop has a right to criticize the government just as any other citizen. This is not an infringement on "Separation of Church and State." When you deny a person his/her right to express their opinion, that would be an infringment of their rights to free speech. We live in a democratic society, and free expression is one of the freedoms that all Americans cherish. In our society, citizens have a right to criticize their government regardless of their occupation.

I'm not sure about the "Devil incarnate," but you certainly seem to have a lot of hatred toward a Bishop was evidently was only issuing a statement regarding a meeting he had with local senators. Try a little peace, love and understanding. Can't hurt the church, and you either.
