AGC Biologics Adds Mammalian Production Capacity in Japan
BOTHELL, Wash: AGC Biologics, a global leader in clinical and commercial manufacturing of therapeutic proteins, announced that as part of its ongoing program to expand its production capacities globally, it will establish a new state of the art process development and manufacturing facility at its CDMO facility in Chiba, Japan. The new facility, which is expected to be operational in the second half of 2019, will contain single-use bioreactors at the 500 and 2000L scale and will be ideally suited for the production of monoclonal antibodies , fusion proteins and other types of therapeutic proteins.
