It is good that an effort is being made but it is a complicated situation because some parents may not want reeconciliation, or else people may say they want reconciliation but only want it on their terms.

The future of Cyprus will be determined by today's youth.
GCs and TCs will sooner or later have to accept that they have no choice but to share the island.
Nationalism and orthodox fundamentalism have been the twin curses that led to the disasters of the last 50 years.
Under Ottoman and British rule (part of) there were hardly any problems between the two communities.
These kind of activities are commendable because they help forge the links that have been lost.
I notice that GCs have respected TCs only after 74 because they can see what they had and what they threw away

Although you couldnt help come up with your usual bollox dear beny boy, i agree with half of what you said,if you put your sides fundamentalists and long standing British and Turkish plans to divide the island we have a deal...

At least you seem to agree something positive is done i ll take that as a good sign

Interesting to see that this thread has attracted so few postings, perhaps indicative of the true feelings of many posters to this forum.

Like it or not TC and GC do get along and mix socially just look at the south registered cars around Kyrenia harbour and the Karpaz, times are changing and about time too.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Sagittarius

Once again, your nerves are getting the better of you. There will be some fraught moments unless you can control your temper and not get drawn into verbal fisticuffs at the drop of a paper hat. It won't help if a partner is feeling neglected as that will give you something else to worry about. You need to relax and start enjoying yourself!
