This is happening for 50 years. When Castro first took power in 59 the opposition was real big and the killing squads where televised almost every week on cuban television. People used to knock you door and have you arrested. To later take your home and personal belongins. Many times force you out of the country for no reason at all. Just to take your car, your home, etc. People who owned business in Cuba were done the same thing too. Many people that supported Castro were wrongly attack by the Ministerio de Hacienda. At Plaza de la Revolucon where Juanes had the Concert, all artists and business's owner had to meet there with Goverment and let their Deeds to the Goverment., or chasen out of Cuba if you refuse to do so.

Exactly! And it wasn't just the big businessman but those who owned mom & pop shops. I had a cousin that sold guarapo (sugar cane juice) from his porch and kept the sugar cane at his carport.
Well, the government took over the business and moved right into his home to do so. He had to cede the porch & carport to the riff raff that took over right in his own humble home!

It was a TERROr to live on those days.!!!!!We use to hide our personal things from been seen from the street. In those days I remember the lady from the CDr in my block wanted my MOm chandelier. My Dad put it down and gave it to her. So she became our friend.

OMG what a coincidence . My grandmother in Cuba had a neighbor give her a chandelier. She loved it.

Its amazing how so many exiled Miami Cubans try to make it sound like they were Jewish living under Hitler in Nazi Germany with concentration camps or the killing fields of Pol Pot in Cambodia.

Right if you didnt like the changes your free to leave it was just that simple.
UNLIKE Jews in Germany which I use as an example because many here (Miami) try to make it sound like it was same thing.

It is amazing how senseless a guanajo like you can be. Tings in Cuba in the 1960's were exctly and even worse than what Marie was saying. Stop been such a guanajo! and learn from the ones that were present at that times!

Mojon, seems to me you are extremely naive. Yes it was very simular.
Evil people in power taking advantage of their power abusing those they could abuse. Taking what they covetted. The chancho che, had a collection of Rolex watches that he took from those that he murdered.

My respect to the Jewish people and love. What ever you say on this forum is just a contradiction of events.... In a way to critize cuban exiles. Something I can care less. You also show you inexperience and lack of reponsability giving opinions on Cuba Communist and the Exodo of cubans to the world. ""What ever happened to us in Cuba, becouse of Castro""". It is for us to KNow and for you to find out.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Leo

If you were unable to resolve yesterday's difficulties they'll be even more pronounced today a Mars turns retro in your sign. Get everything out in the open so you can discuss it, otherwise you run the risk of harbouring resentments and grudges that will emerge further down the line. Be prepared to hear some home truths and also to deliver a few of your own. But be fair!
