Yeah she fell off of one of her cruises..lol!

I should send this link to my friends...they are going to buy a sailboat and sail the caribbean. They already went and got all the papers, training that they need, now they need the boat.
They have a jetboating business in BC, so they know all about boating....and whales well where they took their course...we have lots of whales off our west coast in BC Canada. Beautiful too. I went with mom and her husband with my daughter on the boat, and we followed killer whales about for over two hours off the coast of Victoria.
It was really cool. And one time we went out in one of those kayak things, that look blown up, cannot think of the name, but those whales looked awfully big compared to that boat, but no tipping over... thank god.

Obviously from all comments thus far, only land-dwellers are commenting. It's easy enough to avoid a whale in the daylight if they are surfacing or already near the surface but far more difficult in low light or at night. Note the whale's natural coloring and you will readily see that from the underside it is light colored so as to disguise it to predator's from below and dark on the top which renders it basically the color of the water in low light or night.

The best of sailors can have a whale come up under or very near their boat and have no more chance of avoiding it than a driver that has a deer suddenly dash out from nearby woods and cross the road in front of them.

Before commenting in a manner that so far most herein give ample evidence of knowing absolutely nothing about (a.k.a. open water sailing) best not show your ignorance with such inane comments.

Like Fantome said, mostly only landlubbers are commenting here.

It's not "star port" - it's "starboard"!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Capricorn

Take things slowly and all will be well. However, you must resist a tendency to be perfectionist over things that don't really matter, otherwise you'll never finish the chores. If you're busy with Christmas preparations, you'll have to control a nagging feeling that you've got to compete with the way other people have done things in the past.
