Woman who saved kids from Holocaust dies
Irena Sendler — a Polish social worker who helped save some 2,500 Jewish children from the Nazis by smuggling them out of the Warsaw Ghetto and giving them false identities — has died. She was 98.

My respects to this true hero. I am moved as a human being by the picture below of Nazis offloading people for extermination. To the lower right is a mother holding a baby. Poor sweet innocent baby who hurt no one. Further to the right is a inhuman Nazi robot.

She is a true saint with a pure heart of goodness. Please award her with sainthood and give her whatever honors you can. What a great woman. Where are the books and accolades she should be given?

Its amazing that she never received more recognition. She was a true Saint, and surely she is up there with the likes of Mother Theresa.

This is a lady who, I hate to admit, I knew nothing about until this article. She is the person our schools should be teaching about, someone who sacrificed her life to save so many. Selfless sacrifice is the sign of a true hero. Today our children look to those they see on TV as heroes. How sad. |
