More than 2,500 Mexican agents sent to fight drug trafficking

Oh, so Mexico is going to shoot the US border agents, to ensure that the mexican invasion continues?

Maybe it's just me, but isn't this like sending the arsonist to put out the fire that he started? Makes absolutely no sense. The Mexicans are doing this to make it look like they give a rats behind about what is going on down there. It's all just an act.

2,500 Mexican agents, nothing better to do it seems. Other thoughts they can believe in would be a upgraded Green-Stripe Card so they can come over here and elade the population for discounts and job openings for Official Mexican's. This way they could receive 25 cents off the dollar spent. Wouldn't they rather shop in America.

Out of the 2500 I'd say, oh, about 2499 probably work for the drug cartels they are supposed to be fighting. The other 1 will be their token casualty....

Actually, the mexican government prints instructions in comic book form on how to cross the border safely.

MEXICO should send agents to the border to SECURE IT! WTF?? I think they should be held resposible for their border! Does this make any sense to anyone or am I crazy?

WTF!! Are you people not reading the article and just posting your dumb opinion? You have no idea how violent these drug cartels are. If Mexico can't stop them now, soon they will be in our backyard. 720 people have been killed by the cartels so far in 2008 among those were 13 police officers and other innocent victims. This not about crossing the border or taking jobs is about violent gangs and tons of drugs. If we (The USA) wouldn't be the #1 drug consumer there wouldn't be trafficking. The drugs are useless in Mexico and are worth nothing in Mexico until they cross the border are they worth 1000% more. Don't be blind that the problem is just Mexico's is our problem too. If we ignore it, we will pay dearly.

It said the Mexican troops are going to the boarder to squelch the violece perputrated by Mexican drug lords.

It did not say anything about assisting Illegal aliens in crossing....next time read the headline...
