Well 2009 came to an end and no results or information to the town on the big gift card SCAM!

Tax payers money wasted on something that can not even be used in the prevous year.. Totally emptying the budget for the highway (those gift cards must have been nice!) and the board doesent have the @#$!%s to get Pat out of his position!
Nope lets just leave him in for 2010 with a fresh budget to waste away on some other brain dead idea he might come up with!! I guess the town board doesent care what happens with highway dept. as long as their names dont look bad in there positions!

least they plow the road so u can go to work and it's kind of hard with a lowcut buget

The streets where I live look good. The whole town looks good for that matter. Who cares what goes on behind steel doors?..He does a good job with the town!!

All the departments have their own little way od "doing" things. Apparently no wrong doing was found. It was one audit in one department in one town. " sometimes it's hard to tell who's swimming naked until the tide goes out ".

In a small town, small minds prevail. Get your facts straight. He doesn't live in Putnam. If you have a job, then how do you know the amount of hours everyone else is working? How many hours do you work? You seem to have a lot of time to check up on everyone else.

As for the accused, I thought it was common knowledge that Mr. Q was above work and was merely required to appear, late as usual, to collect his pay.

Downtown usually looks good. Why shouldn't it. They have a state contract for salt and money to plow 9N from monument to Hague State Line and Mcdonalds corner to Putnam Town Line. They rarely do either, instead using the money and materials for downtown.

I Have known Pat since high school....he is one of the good guys for sure but i think he should pose this question to himself....if one of his employees stole 2000 dollars in town funds would pat fire him??? Sorry to say but he needs to do the right thing and resign....at least do not run for another term as i doubt he would be re-elected anyways.

If I were Mr. Morrison I would have demoted his present deputy as soon as he took office! Wasn't it Phil Heustis that put him in as Deputy, and hasn't he been a thorn in Pat's ass since. Rumor had it that he was going to have Pat's job. Look like he's tried very hard to get it. Congratulation Mr. Quesnel I hope you watch Pat's back, he's been more effective than that past highway superintendant of highways.
As far as the gift card goes, it could have been an honest mistake!!!! This is Pat's first time running he needs to learn the rights & wrongs. Maybe you people who tried so hard to drag Mr. Morrison down should start spending your time digging up the dirt in your own closet, there's employees that Mr. Morrison works with that steal from the tax payers are you going to come clean?????? I DOUBT IT!!!!!

Holy Smokes! We pay his wages and yes the felony was founded.Did you all forget the heartfelt apology in the paper? Have you forgotten how it was discovered? He plowed throw the budget by buying extremely high priced items and recieving those gifts cards as "thank you's". As far as the streets and roads being cleaned the guys do a wonderful job!
And before anyone tells me that I should not judge or mind my own business, it is my business, just like it is yours I PAY TAXES!!!!
Let's see what he does with this years budget.

Mr. Qusenel DOES live in Putnam. He DOES live with K. VanZuphten. He left his wife & all that goes with it for K.VanZuphten. For all of you who think you know it all.
