Omar Khalifa Mohammed Abu Bakr Mahjour Umar and Salem Abdul Salem Ghereby allegedly belonged to the al Qaeda-linked Libyan Islamic Fighting Group , worked with senior al Qaeda leaders and had advanced explosives training in Afghanistan prior to their detention in Cuba.
