    French telecoms watchdog Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Posts has announced that a total of 25 operators have submitted bids for 4G licences in the French overseas territories of Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana, Saint-Martin, Saint Barthelemy, Reunion and Mayotte. The applicants were revealed as follows: a Guadeloupe and Martinique: Dauphin Telecom, Digicel Antilles-Francaise Guyane, Free Mobile , NomoTech, Orange Caraibe and The regulator disclosed that it will now study the applications, with the available spectrum - in the 800MHz and 2600MHz bands , along with additional frequencies in the 900MHz, 1800MHz and 2100MHz bands - scheduled to be awarded in the autumn of 2016.
