    Legislation allowing Channel 10 to continue its broadcasts for another six months passed a first reading in the Knesset Monday. The government-proposed bill, which passed with 27 MKs in favor and none opposed, came after Attorney-General Yehuda Weinstein decided at the last minute, before the channel was in danger of closure on December 31, to allow it to broadcast as usual until after the March 17 election and formation of a new government.
