    A senior member of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Government wants a more in-depth "conversation" here on the issue of the decriminalisation of marijuana for medicinal purposes even though the matter has been in the public domain since 2013. Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves has already asked his fellow Caribbean Community leaders to discuss the issue and while Caricom has launched a marijuana commission, which has held consultations across the region, regional countries have not enacted legislation to give effect to the matter.
