    Clarks Summit native Adam Rippon the reigning U.S. figure skating champion, won the bronze medal recently at this year's Trophee de France in Paris, part of the of the In fourth place after the short program, Rippon turned in the second-best free skate of the event to win the bronze medal. His performance, set to "Arrival of the Birds" by The Cinematic Orchestra and "O" by Coldplay, opened with a quadruple toe loop followed by seven triple jumps, four of which earned bonus points for being performed in the second half of the program.
