    You know those caper films where you have a gang of generally smart guys who do all the planning and strategising, and there is this one chap who provides the muscle? The enforcer of the group, so to speak? For example, the hugely entertaining 1992 high-tech heist flick Sneakers had Sidney Poitier laying the smackdown on a nasty villain before uttering the immortal "Mother****** mess with me, I'll split yo' head." Well, those guys just got put out of work by Nicholas Hathaway , the hacker extraordinaire who is the antihero more "hero" than "anti" of Michael Mann's latest hard-boiled thriller.
