    Over the past few years, singer-songwriter Ani DiFranco has quietly become a New Orleanian: renovating an old house in the Marigny, turning up frequently with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band , and employing the talents of Louisiana musicians. She's been recording in New Orleans since the late 1990s, and her last two albums - 2008's "Red Letter Year" and 2012's " Which Side Are You On?" - featured a cavalcade of boot-staters, including the Rebirth Brass Band, C.C. Adcock, Ivan and Cyril Neville, Mark Mullins, Matt Perrine, Ben Ellman, the Roots of Music Marching Crusaders and more.
