    Proving that "Smoke on the Water" is a universal force for rock and roll, this group of Thai children performed an excellent cover of the Deep Purple classic, as seen in the video shown below, which was posted to YouTube on September 23, 2015. ClassicRock , which first published the story, says the band is "led by five-year-old Waimolwan Saisathit, otherwise known as 'Petty', a third-year kindergarten student at the Lertlah School in the Nongkhaem District of Bangkok, who plays a guitar adorned by images of the popular Japanese anime character, Doraemon."
