That's right, the state Republican Party began circulating an email this week asking recipients to shell out $5 to "join the fight" against Edwards and his tax-loving, Democratic regime. Apparently the Grover Norquist crowd has its no-new-tax-pledge in a wad over the passing of $1 billion in new taxes to address a budget crisis largely created by the antics of former Gov. Bobby Jindal and his Republican cronies in the Legislature.
