    A massive mechanical miner will make his way through the former mining districts of west Cornwall this week as he heads for Geevor and the end of his two week journey. Standing over 10 metres tall when fully upright, the Man Engine is Britain's largest ever mechanical puppet, created to commemorate the tinth -or tenth - anniversary of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape being added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
