    More than 2,000 young people and 400 teams took part in Ten Tors Challenge with hundreds from across Mid Devon joining in. Organised by the British Army, teams of six trek to 10 specific tors across Dartmoor, covering 35, 45 or 55 miles over two days, May 12 and May 13. The challenge involves walking over the rough terrain of Dartmoor, visiting the ten nominated tors as checkpoints in under two days.
