    Sarah Brewster, 21, is believed to have fallen at least 40ft from a cliff, landing on a path below, at the Blue Lake quarry at Friog, near Fairbourne, in south Gwynedd. Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were called at around 1.55pm on Wednesday following reports a woman had fallen.

    Unions are in uproar over how the job selection process at Ysgol Bro Idris was run and have written to governors Unions representing teachers trying to apply for jobs at a new 4.3m school in Dolgellau have described its appointment process as "a shambles." Ysgol Bro Idris for pupils aged 3-16 will open in September across six sites, one secondary at Ysgol y Gader and five primaries - Dolgellau, Dinas Mawddwy, Llanelltyd, Rhydymain and Y Friog with a total of 650-700 pupils.
