    Motorists are being warned of weekend overnight closures of the M1 while further construction takes place on a new bridge linking the Lubbesthorpe SUE. Work starts on Saturday May 7 with the motorway closed in both directions between Junction 21 and Junction 22 from 9pm until 11am on Sunday May 8. Leicestershire County Council, along with partners Balfour Beatty and Highways England, will be installing the bridge beams to link Thorpe Astley to New Lubbesthorpe.
