The 18-year-old had finished working her shift at the Wheatsheaf Inn, in Consett , and joined her family for a drink in the bar before meeting friends at the Golden Lion pub for more drinks on February 28. She said goodbye to her friends at around midnight, telling a pal she was going to see if she could find a party to go to. Detective Sergeant Scott Jameson, of Stanley CID, said: "There was absolutely no indication whatsoever, there had never been any indication that she would do this sort of thing or harm herself in anyway."
