    A 19-year-old Hong Kong man was arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking on Saturday after he was found carrying suspected heroin worth HK$2.7 million . The suspect, surnamed Leung, was intercepted by officers from the Narcotics Bureau near a bus station on Tai Chung Kiu Road in Sha Tin at about 1.30pm during a police anti-drugs operation.

    Thirteen people were injured when a green minibus and van collided on Tai Chung Kiu Road near the Regal Riverside Hotel in Sha Tin in the morning today. The minibus was knocked onto its side by the impact, while the van came to a halt in the middle of the road and was severely damaged.

The South Korean foreign ministry earlier Tuesday Trafigura originally sold the shipment to Hong Kong-based Global Commodities Consultants Ltd. on a free-on-board basis from South Korea for delivery to Taiwan, it said.
