    Yorkin, who created Tandem Productions in 1959 with writer-producer Lear and remained in partnership with him until selling his interest in the company in 1983, died at his home in Bel Air, publicist Jeff Sanderson announced. His wife, Cynthia Sikes Yorkin, recently told The Hollywood Reporter that Yorkin had returned to their home in March after spending 18 months at the Motion Picture and Television Fund Country Home for treatment of dementia.
