    TUCSON, AZ - A man play golfing at a Tucson course was bitten by a rattlesnake Friday morning, July 8, authorities said. The Northwest Fire District said it happened at a course in the 9100 block of North Thornydale before 8 a.m. The patient said he stepped off of the grass and into the surrounding desert area to look for his golf ball when he accidentally stepped on the snake, causing it to turn and strike.
