    An archaeologist who has conducted excavations at the site of the Battles of Saratoga is giving a pair of presentations on a new book he has written about the Revolutionary War battles. Dean Snow's book, titled "1777: Tipping Point at Saratoga," focuses on a 32-day period from four days before the first battle in mid-September to Oct. 17, 1777, when the British surrendered in what is now the village of Schuylerville.
