    Good and bad news,folks,first the good news-East Zone Opener went about as predicted for those of us Public Land Warriors and only managed 4 ducks between two sets of hunters,me and buddy in one blind and Bayoubob doing solo hunt.Bayoubob emerged with a drake grey and hen spoonie and me and my hunting buddy emerged with hen grey and hen Dos Gris.Bad news is that the eagerly-anticipated article on the trophy black duck,promised for December 2017 Sportsman,is NOT going to run until possibly November 2018,at least two years after this magnificent trophy duck was shot and I feel slighted as I bragged to folks in both North and South LA about this incredible hunt and told them it was slated for December 2017,only to find out via e-mail and text that the article MAY be running in November 2018,not what me and my duck hunting buddies were expecting.Guess the silver lining is that now I do not ...
