The charges, which came from a Brooklyn grand jury's indictment, follow an investigation into the arrest of a Brooklyn man who Edouard and his partner said was drinking alcohol and holding a joint while on the sidewalk on Bedford-Stuyvesant on July 23. The video shows Edouard and his partner confronting the man, Jahmiel Cuffee, 32, who resisted arrest and "tussled with the officers," according to a news release from the office of Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson.
